SCENE I
1. Cursed thoughts Banquo had were the nightmares he’s had with the three witches.
2. The lie Macbeth tells Banquo was the that he doesn’t want to talk about what the witches have said to them.
3. The meaning of Banquo’s comment was that he wants a favor coming from Macbeth when talking about the witches being king.
4. Macbeth had this fear of killing Duncan, so he’s starting ot see things that aren’t there, such as the daggers in his hands.
5. The significance of the bell ringing was the signal for Macbeth to kill king Duncan.
SCENE II
1. Lady Macbeth does not want to be the one blamed for the murder of the king.
2. The words he believed he heard were from someone who kept telling him that he shall die for killing someone very innocent. He also heard that he “shall sleep no more”.
3. Macbeth was so afraid about attempting the murder that he didn’t got back to put the daggers next to the dead king, along with smearing blood on the guards as well.
4. In Macbeth’s point of view, cleaning his hands in the ocean would result as the ocean going all red and showing that there was an actual someone that killed the king and people would be in a look out for the murderer. Lady Macbeth thinks that this is not a big deal, just as long has he gets it all cleaned up so it wouldn’t be as suspicious.
SCENE III
1. Macduff came to Macbeth’s castle just to visit king Duncan.
2. Unusual things that happened to Macduff and Lennox that night was a porter talking to them about being drunk. Also that night, they found king Duncan and his servants murdered and dead.
3. Macbeth told people that he was the one that killed the king’s men because then people would assume that Macbeth is a hero of saving the king from the drunken servants that “killed” the king. Macbeth doesn’twant to be known as the murderer of king Duncan and doesn’t want to get killed himself .
4. To show that Lady Macbeth has nothing to do with the murder, she pretends to faint when she finds out that king Duncan is murdered.
5. One will go to England and the other will go to Ireland. These two will flee to different countries to protect themselves from being murdered as well ever since their father’s been murdered. These two are afraid that they are next in line.
SCENE IV
1. Unnatural events that were discussed are the facts that Donalbain and Malcolm are being accused of the king’s murder and his servants and how Macduff announces Macbeth the new king.
2. With Donalbain and Malcolm fleeing to England and Ireland, the people are assuming that they are responsible for the king’s murder.
3. Macbeth has been crowned king.
4.
